Electrician - Generator Installer

We are seeking an electrician to join our team and lead electrical installations of Generac generators for our growing client base. If you're a skilled electrician with leadership experience and a strong commitment to safety, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the installation of standby generators and automatic transfer switches (ATS).
• Ensure all electrical work complies with National Electric Code (NEC) and state/local regulations.
• Supervise and mentor electricians and apprentices on the job site.
• Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and project plans.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during and after installation.
• Promote a safety-first culture and ensure all work is performed according to company safety policies.
• Maintain accurate documentation and job records.

Essential Skills

• Experience with electrical installations, including running conduit, PVC, Rigid Pipe, pulling wire, and using cable trays.
• Proficiency in interpreting blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues.
• Strong leadership skills to supervise and mentor team members.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Must provide own basic electrical tools and voltmeter.
• Familiarity with installing generators is preferred.

Work Environment

Work involves installing generators at residential homes. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. You will drive to the Mount Pleasant location daily to pick up a company truck and return it at the end of the day.

This is a permanent position based out of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $58240.00/yr. Great benefits - Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K.
