Job Description: Booking Manager will be responsible for securing show dates at local venues, festivals, and events for Brooklyn-based music duo.
Requirements: The ideal candidate will be New York-based, familiar with the local music community, and available to work with the provided assets, while providing insight on what supplemental materials are required to present to potential venues. In addition to basic correspondence and being a liaison between the artists and venue, the idea candidate is willing to grow with the artists, marketing, and other creators as a team and support further goals, such as touring, brand deals, etc.
Compensation: In the first 4 weeks, the Booking Manager will be paid a weekly stipend ($150), with the expectation of a first booking within that time for a later date, or within that time. The initial process will be a consultation period to assure the artist duo has all materials needed for the Booking Manager to communicate with venues. The initial process will consist of weekly meetings, and an estimated 4 hours weekly of personal admin for the duo. After the onboarding process, any work will be remote, at will, and compensated at 20% of the booking fee until the end of the quarter, where we can then negotiate an appropriate rate, based on the volume of bookings to that point.

About the artists: Brittany Harlin is a singer songwriter and dancer choreographer originally from Bolingbrook, Illinois. Her original dance and music influences began in her close multigenerational family, as well as pioneers of the Hip Hop and Modern Dance movements. Harlins liturgical performance upbringing informs and contrasts her current inquiries on sensuality, human connection, and the implications of relationships. Blank Face Villain is a multifaceted producer, instrumentalist, and artist based in Brooklyn. Classically trained from the age of 5, he fuses those influences with rap, R&B, and
pop music to create a seamless blend of uniquely personal production. Together, they are bim+bo.
