Role Description We are seeking a driven, results-oriented Event Sales Manager to join our team and oversee private dining and event sales across our suburban locations: Giostra (South Barrington), Lago Lake Zurich, and Lago Glenview. This is an on-site role that requires strong relationship-building skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality. The Event Sales Manager will be responsible for generating new leads, building relationships with local businesses and community groups, managing inquiries through Tripleseat, and ensuring seamless handoff to our operations teams. Success in this role means increasing private dining revenue, exceeding guest expectations, and building lasting partnerships. Key Responsibilities Proactively source and generate leads for private dining, corporate events, weddings, and community gatherings. Manage inbound inquiries through Tripleseat and respond with professionalism and urgency. Build relationships with local businesses, chambers of commerce, and community organizations to expand the client base. Create proposals, negotiate contracts, and close sales that align with FVH standards. Partner with General Managers, Chefs, and FOH teams to ensure flawless execution of events. Maintain accurate records of sales activity, pipelines, and conversions timing + responses Attend networking events, tastings, and showcases to represent FVH. Meet and exceed revenue goals for each suburban location. Qualifications 3+ years of event sales experience in hospitality (restaurants, hotels, catering, or venues). Strong track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, unmatched sense of urgency and follow up. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines. Proficiency in Tripleseat or similar event management CRM preferred. Ability to work on-site at multiple suburban locations weekly. A passion for hospitality and delivering unforgettable guest experiences.
