Vice President of Land Development

to oversee land development, site planning, governmental compliance, and community coordination. This leadership role is perfect for someone who thrives in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment and wants to make a tangible impact on communities being built from the ground up! Responsibilities: Lead the

land development lifecycle : from site planning and utility approvals to construction oversight, warranty, and government acceptance Manage

project schedules , budgets, and quality standards for land development Build and maintain relationships with

government agencies , utility engineers, and community stakeholders Ensure

HOA coordination , site image enhancements, and common area maintenance Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, construction, purchasing) to ensure timely and successful

lot deliveries Participate in

value engineering , cost control, and contractor selection processes Set and manage

lot premium structures

and lot release strategies Maintain clear, proactive communication with executives and internal teams regarding project status Accountabilities: Ensure conformance to

local, state, and federal regulations Maintain

schedule, cost, and quality

targets across all land projects Deliver consistent, ready-to-build

lot inventory

for homebuilding operations Execute

community planning elements

ahead of sales launch and grand openings Collaborate with executive leadership to ensure alignment with strategic land goals Qualifications: Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in construction, real estate, or related field 10+ years

in land development or homebuilding, with at least

7 years in a leadership role Strong working knowledge of

Excel and MS Project Proven ability to

lead teams , manage contractors, and drive operational results A current

drivers license , auto insurance, and willingness to travel locally and regionally Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and verbal

communication skills Physical & Working Conditions Ability to

traverse construction sites , including ungraded lots and stairs Must be able to

lift up to 25 lbs , work outdoors in varied weather Will be required to

drive between job sites regularly
