The Marketplace Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing large datasets from various sources, including Salesforce, Snowflake, SAS, and Power BI. The role involves using statistical and data science methods to identify patterns, develop insights, and present findings through executive reports and visual dashboards. The analyst collaborates closely with business and technical teams to ensure that data outputs meet project objectives and inform strategic initiatives across the marketplace.
Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Utilize advanced data science, statistical, and mathematics techniques to interrogate data.
1. Analyze AB data to identify patterns, correlations, and anomalies.
1. Write detailed and comprehensive reports on findings from data analysis.
1. Present data in creative and visually compelling ways to effectively communicate insights.
1. Prepare and deliver presentations to stakeholders, including business and technical leads.
1. Work closely with the ABCQI team, including business and technical leads and stakeholders, to ensure data analysis aligns with project objectives and that the requests are delivered accurately and on time.
1. Provide data-driven recommendations to support decision-making processes.
1. Collaborate with other team members to integrate data insights into project plans and strategies.
Education:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Public Health, or a related field.
1. Must be a US Citizen or a Green Card holder.
Basic Qualifications:
1. Experience with Marketplace data and data tools such as New Relic, Splunk, Salesforce, Amazon Data Bricks, SAS, Sandbox, Snowflake, MS Power BI, and MarkLogic.
1. Experience with interrogating data using advanced data science, statistical, and mathematical techniques.
1. Experience with manipulating data sets to uncover trends and extract insights.
1. Experience in presenting data in creative and visually compelling ways to communicate findings with data visualization tools such as Redash, MS Power BI, or Tableau.
1. Proficiency in executive reporting.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Familiarity with the Federally Facilitated Marketplace (FFM) and the health insurance industry.
1. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
