Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst with expertise in labor analytics and financial reporting to support a multi-year initiative. This role is central to driving data-informed decision-making across labor and financial operations by transforming complex data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical skills, curiosity, and data storytelling capabilities to influence business strategy and operations.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities in labor and financial reporting.

  • Partner with HR, Finance, and Operations leaders to ensure insights support strategic and organizational goals.

  • Demonstrate curiosity and critical thinking to ask the right questions, challenging assumptions and uncovering deeper insights.

  • Translate complex datasets into clear and compelling narratives, helping stakeholders understand the "why” behind the data.

  • Present findings to leadership and cross-functional teams to drive informed decision-making.

  • Collaborate across functions to refine reporting and integrate feedback.

Requirements:

Must-Haves:

  • 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally with a focus on HR, labor, or financial reporting.

  • Knowledge of labor metrics, financial concepts, and business operations.

  • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Qlik, or similar tools.

  • Familiarity with enterprise HR/finance systems (e.g., Workday, Oracle, SAP).

  • Communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings for business audiences.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience with SQL, data warehousing, and multi-source data integration.

  • Strong storytelling skills—able to craft meaningful insights from data.

  • Inquisitive mindset with a passion for exploring data from multiple perspectives.

  • Prior experience presenting to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
