This contract role focuses on strengthening resilience against disruptions by partnering with global teams to design, document, and validate recovery strategies across the enterprise. If youre a problem-solver who connects risk management, IT, and operations, this role may be a fit.

Base pay range

$60.00/hr - $70.00/hr

Responsibilities
  • Partner with stakeholders across the business to execute continuity and recovery initiatives
  • Assist with drafting, testing, and maintaining continuity and recovery plans
  • Facilitate exercises and workshops, ensuring engagement and alignment across teams
  • Analyze outcomes from exercises and create actionable improvement plans
  • Ensure program documentation meets ISO 22301 and industry best practices
  • Provide regular reporting and progress updates to leadership
  • Collaborate with IT and other functions on technical recovery and workplace recovery strategies
Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Business, IT, or related discipline
  • At least 6 years of business continuity, risk, or disaster recovery experience
  • Familiarity with recovery planning, impact analysis, and risk assessments
  • Knowledge of ISO 22301, NFPA 1600, NIST SP 800-34
  • Excellent communication skillsable to translate technical content into business-ready documentation
  • Microsoft Office proficiency; ServiceNow and Azure experience a plus
  • Professional certification in business continuity preferred
