Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Dental Assistant for a Dental Practice in Westminster, CA. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the dentist and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office. Your responsibilities will include assisting with procedures, managing patient records, and maintaining infection control standards. We are looking for candidates who have knowledge of dental software systems, familiarity with HIPAA regulations, and experience in dental receptionist duties.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparing and sterilizing instruments
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Prepare patients for treatment by seating them and explaining the procedures
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Perform dental receptionist duties such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records
- Maintain infection control protocols and ensure a clean and safe environment
- Take and record patients\' vital signs

Required Skills & Experience
- Software knowledge for electronic health records management
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft dental software for appointment scheduling and record keeping
- Understanding of infection control protocols in a dental setting
- Ability to maintain accurate medical records
- Familiarity with taking and recording vital signs
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist
