The Role

The Global IT Supporter will be responsible for ensuring and managing IT Support for all Zevra employees, consultants and contractors. The Global IT Supporter works closely with the rest of the IT team to ensure a high level of support for all staff, managing incidents, service requests and keeping track of IT equipment. Zevra Therapeutics employees work from several offices in the USA and in Denmark, as well as staff working remotely. The Global IT Supporter will support all staff globally and provide white-glove IT support to the company’s executives, including in-office, remote or at-home assistance for executive management. This role also covers hardware purchase, installation/setup and delivery (laptops, printers, peripherals) and ensures workstations are prepared for in-office staff. IT equipment is inventoried and tracked in coordination with Finance. The Global IT Supporter contributes to IT strategy with a focus on IT Support and Service-related initiatives and executes those initiatives according to the IT Roadmap in coordination with the IT Director and team. Because Zevra IT collaborates globally, the Global IT Supporter shares responsibilities with the broader IT team and may stand in during vacation or sickness. Domestic and international travel should be expected. Prior substantial experience in IT Service and Support and solid familiarity with inventory and asset management are required; pharmaceutical or biotech experience is a plus. Zevra primarily uses Microsoft technology, so experience with M365, Azure, Entra, Intune and Copilot is expected. Previous experience administering SharePoint and Teams is an advantage.

What You'll Do – Responsibilities

  • Support all staff globally, including consultants and contractors in IT Support related matters, managing incidents and service requests.
  • Provide VIP IT Support and service for company executive management.
  • Perform purchasing, inventory and asset management to track IT equipment.
  • Install and set up office workstations and IT equipment such as laptops, printers and peripherals.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to deliver prioritized tasks and projects.

Qualifications

  • IT technical degree, engineering or similar education with a focus on IT.
  • Minimum 5 years of IT experience in services, operations, support, management, project management, architecture or similar.
  • Minimum 3 years of direct IT Support experience.
  • Experience working in an international company.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry is a plus.
  • Experience working with outsourced IT partnerships and services.
