Primary Objective of Position:
As a Sourcing Analyst, you will play a critical role in enhancing our supply chain efficiency by supporting strategic sourcing initiatives through data-driven insights. You will analyze market trends, supplier performance, and procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize supplier relationships. The ideal candidate has a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for leveraging data to drive impactful business decisions.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Data Analysis & Insights: Collect, clean, and analyze procurement and supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Develop dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights for sourcing strategies and supplier performance. Strategic Sourcing Support: Assist in supplier identification, evaluation, and selection processes. Conduct cost-benefit analyses, total cost of ownership (TCO) assessments, and scenario modeling. Support contract negotiations by providing data-backed recommendations. Market Research & Benchmarking: Monitor market trends, industry best practices, and competitor activities to inform sourcing strategies. Benchmark supplier performance against industry standards. Supplier Relationship Management: Collaborate with suppliers to gather performance data and address any issues. Support the development of supplier scorecards and performance improvement initiatives. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, finance, operations, and other departments to align sourcing strategies with business objectives. Support cross-functional teams with data-driven insights to improve supply chain processes. Performs other duties as assigned by the VP, Supply Chain, or Sourcing Team Lead.

Knowledge of procurement best practices and supply chain management principles. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Proficient in data analysis and reporting. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Able to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Able to work onsite is required Flexibility and willingness to travel for business purposes, including air travel.
Education & Experience
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or data analysis roles. Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel (advanced functions), Power BI, and Access. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Infor XA, SAP, Oracle) and procurement tools (e.g., Ariba, Coupa) is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
