As a Cloud Engineer you will work in a highly collaborative, multi-functional team committed to improving the value of our technology solutions & supporting the Jenkins Core platform for the enterprise. We explore new technologies and a wide variety of cloud native platforms in an open and transparent way. We are passionate about opensource contribution while embracing a continuous learning, sharing our expertise and knowledge with the wider engineering community. Responsibilities
Work in a DevOps environment and contribute to continuous integration and deployment processes. Build and deploy applications using CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment tools such as Jenkins. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC), preferably using Terraform or an equivalent tool. Work with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Develop hands-on experience with two or more languages (e.g., Python, Java, Groovy). Operate in Unix/Linux environments, installing and configuring applications, and resolving issues in public clouds like AWS and/or Azure. Install, configure, test, and maintain application software and system management tools. Configure container and serverless applications. Demonstrate a strong desire to learn and experiment with new cloud technologies and trends. Communicate effectively and influence stakeholders across globally distributed teams. Must Have
CI/CD Pipelines experience, ideally with Jenkins Infrastructure as Code experience in Terraform or a related tool Containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes Experience with any public cloud; AWS is preferred Next Steps
