Application Support Analyst
with strong experience supporting
Equity and Equity Options trading platforms
in a front-office environment. The successful candidate will work closely with traders, quants, and technology teams to ensure the seamless operation of electronic trading platforms, order management systems, and connectivity gateways. Responsibilities Provide
front-line support
for traders and sales teams across
Equities and Listed/OTC Options . Monitor and maintain
execution platforms
such as
Fidessa, EMSX, Dash
(knowledge of
Flextrade
or similar systems is a plus). Troubleshoot and support
FIX protocol connectivity , including order routing, drop copies, and gateway stability. Investigate and resolve production issues in real time, escalating to development teams when needed. Support
trade booking systems
and ensure accurate capture of trades across Equities and Options. Collaborate with infrastructure and development teams to drive improvements, automation, and stability in trading environments. Prepare incident reports, root cause analyses, and contribute to knowledge base documentation.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of
application or production support
in a front-office trading environment. Strong knowledge of
Equities and Equity Options
(Listed and OTC). Hands-on experience with
execution platforms
(Fidessa, EMSX, Dash...). Strong understanding of
FIX messaging and gateways . Experience with
trade booking systems
and OMS for Equities/Options. Good scripting knowledge with SQL for automation and log analysis. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to work directly with traders under pressure.
