Patient Care Technician (PCT) Position
Position: Patient Care Technician (PCT) Location: Select Specialty Hospital Phoenix, AZ, inside Banner University in the 2nd tower on the 11th floor Schedule: Full-time Nightshift- 6:00pm-6:30am Compensation: $20.11 - 25.50 (depending on years of experience) Sign-On Bonus: $3,000 Select Specialty Hospital is a critical illness recovery hospital committed to providing world-class inpatient post-ICU services to chronic, critically ill patients who require extended healing and recovery. Responsibilities
Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair Participate in hourly rounds Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs Keep patients' rooms in clean and orderly condition Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years) BLS is required within 90 days of hire Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant) Equal Opportunity Employer/including Disabled/Veterans
