Up to $7,500 Sign-on Bonus Full Time benefit eligible Shift: FT 40 hours per week, day shift with weekend and holiday rotation Takes radiologic films providing quality images to physicians to aid in the diagnosis of medical problems. Responsibilities include: preparing and positioning patients for imaging and selecting exposure factors accurately; preparing and administering contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations; observing patient during procedure and reporting abnormal activity; monitoring protocols and recommending updates or refinements as warranted; following radiation safety procedures and guidelines to prevent patient exposure to unnecessary radiation; ensuring prompt submission of high-quality images and documents sent to PACS; ensuring equipment is properly functioning and reporting potential problems or equipment malfunction to appropriate personnel; assisting in maintaining a clean and orderly department; and positioning patients and selecting anatomic and technical parameters accurately. Education/Experience Required: High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree within 6 months of hire, or Technical degree required within 6 months of hire. Certification/Licences Required: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
