Our DoD/Aerospace client is seeking an Advanced ILS Specialist - Combat in Manassas, VA. In this role, you will utilize your strong knowledge of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Elements to define, review and analyze system requirements for enhancements/modifications for supportability, providing input to project/program plans and deliverables. A Bachelors degree in Logistics, Management or Engineering (or related field) and a minimum of 5 years of experience are required. Location : Manassas, VA Position : Advanced ILS Specialist - Combat (Secret Clearance) Contract : 12-24 months with possibility of going direct Pay : $55.74/hour Schedule : Onsite Clearance requirements

Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required. What you bring to the table

Experience using S1000D and publishing IETMs using the SIDD viewer Ability to prepare documentation for delivery in a variety of formats (e.g. .doc, .PDF, HTML and XML/SGML-tagged online and IETMs) Familiarity with military documentation using current DoD specifications and standards including MIL-STD-3001, MIL-STD-38784, MIL-STD-24784, MIL-STD-40051-2C Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word and Excel required), XMLSpy, MS Visio, PowerPoint Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Bachelors degree in Logistics, Management or Engineering (or related field) plus at least 5 years of relevant experience; or Masters degree plus at least 3 years of relevant experience Fully proficient knowledge of Acquisition Logistics and ILS elements and how they interact across a program Strong knowledge of ILS elements (supply support; maintenance planning; manpower and personnel; technical manuals; training and training equipment; support equipment; facilities; computer resources support; packaging, handling, storage and transportation; RM&A) Knowledge of military/commercial requirements and specifications
