Proficient Auto Logistics (PAL) is a leading specialized freight company focused on providing auto transportation and logistics services. PAL operates one of the largest auto transportation fleets in North America with over 1200 trucks, 55 terminal locations and 800 employees. The company focuses on transporting finished vehicles from production facilities, marine ports, or rail yards to auto dealerships nationwide. Job Summary
This position is for a dedicated Enterprise Application Specialist to maintain and optimize Magnus, our Operations enterprise system. The role identifies recurring issues, provides training to operating team members, and liaises with the Magnus team to support PAL internal needs. The position maintains EDI and API connections and adapts to differences in PAL Operating Company configurations to ensure the application meets organizational needs and delivers a seamless user experience. Key Responsibilities
System Administration: Manage and maintain the Magnus enterprise system, ensuring availability, performance, and reliability. User Support: Provide technical support and training to end-users, addressing application-related issues and improving adoption. Customization & Optimization: Analyze business requirements to design, develop, and implement system customizations and enhancements. Data Management: Oversee data integrity, security, and reporting within Magnus. Integration: Collaborate with IT teams to integrate Magnus with other enterprise systems and third-party applications. Documentation: Maintain up-to-date documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve application performance issues and errors promptly. Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to align system functionality with organizational objectives. Requirements
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience as an Enterprise Application Specialist or similar role, with expertise in Magnus or comparable enterprise systems. Strong understanding of enterprise application workflows, configuration, and reporting tools. Proficiency in system integration techniques and data management best practices. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work with diverse stakeholders. Experience with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) EDI feeds. High sense of urgency and commitment to success. EEO Statement
