$10,000 Sign-on Bonus and Relocation Assistance Available Facility: Highsmith Rainey Specialty Hospital Location: Fayetteville, North Carolina Department: Ultrasound Job Family: Allied Health Work Shift: Days (United States of America) Summary: The Level III Ultrasound Technologist is fully competent to perform all diagnostic and vascular ultrasound procedures for the diagnosis of specified diseases or conditions. 5 or more years minimum experience required. Level III sonographers must be certified in three areas, one of which must be either Vascular Technology or Echocardiography. Maintains current AHA CPR certification through Cape Fear Valley Training and Development department. Demonstrates technical skills and expertise in performing diagnostic and vascular sonography. Demonstrates positive interpersonal skills. Verbal and written skills required. Demonstrates compassionate patient care. Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development and understands the range of treatment needed for all age groups. Provides care based on the patient's developmental needs. Experienced in the delivery of effective patient care and interacts effectively with patients of all ages. Must be able to communicate orally. Must have dexterity and visual acuity. Must have mobility to assume awkward positions. Must have mobility to respond to emergency situations. Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time. Must be able to bend and lift. Position may involve skin, eye, or mucous membrane contact with blood or other potentially infectious material.
