Fleet Specialist I/II/III
This position is located in town/city, Oklahoma. Annual Salary: Level I F47A - $40,465.00 + Full State Employee Benefits Level II F47B - $43,500.00 + Full State Employee Benefits Level III F47C - $47,850.00 + Full State Employee Benefits Travel is extensive. Must possess a valid driver's license and must maintain required car insurance. Days worked will be Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Minimum Qualifications
Fleet Specialist, Level I Education and experience requirements at this level consist of one year of experience in automobile, truck, light or heavy duty road equipment, combustion engines or chassis maintenance and repair; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of education/training as an Automotive/Diesel Mechanic. Fleet Specialist, Level II Education and experience requirements at this level consist of two years of experience in automobile, truck, light or heavy duty road equipment, combustion engines or chassis maintenance and repair; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of education/training as an Automotive/Diesel Mechanic. Fleet Specialist, Level III Education and experience requirements at this level consist of three years of experience in automobile, truck, light or heavy duty road equipment, combustion engines or chassis maintenance and repair; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of education/training as an Automotive/Diesel Mechanic. Job Duties
Performs highly skilled mechanical work to repair and maintain agency Fleet Vehicles, specialty trucks and heavy equipment. Overhauls and repairs gasoline and diesel engines, transmissions and vehicle powertrain components. Troubleshoots vehicle and equipment mechanical, suspension and electrical issues, installs and repairs a large variety of vehicle exterior and interior parts required to safely operate a vehicle. *Preference may be given to applicants who are ASE certified and/or possess a CDL.
