A FQHC is seeking a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner for locum tenens coverage.

About the clinician's workday
The position has a credentialing timeframe of approximately two months and offers a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a rotating half-day Saturday shift and one evening shift until 7:30 PM weekly (flexible). NPs are welcome to apply. Call is required but minimal, occurring about once every 4 weeks (potentially less as more providers are added), with a nurse practitioner taking first call and the provider serving as backup. The role involves seeing about 10 patients per session, with two sessions per day; providers working 8 clinical sessions weekly can have one day for administrative duties. The patient population is adults 18 and older, with 80% on MassHealth Medicaidpreference is given to candidates already enrolled. Board certification and active DEA and MCSR licenses are required. The EMR used is ECW, and providers will have support from dedicated MAs, RNs, and other physicians on-site. COVID or flu vaccination requirements are pending confirmation.
