Meter Analyst I | Louisville, Kentucky, United States Callouts:
- This role is hybrid ( M/F remote) at the Auburndale Operations Center in Louisville, KY
- Experience with Power Bi and SQL would be nice to have
Core Responsibilities Responsible for the management of the day-to-day meter operations of the AMI and/or AMI interconnected systems. Oversees the flow of information to and from the Meter Data Management System with other related enterprise systems (i.e., Customer Care System, Meter Asset Management System, and multiple Advanced Meter Head End Systems). Ensures the data across these various systems is in sync and investigates and resolves any exceptions. Works with various internal business groups (e.g., billing, customer service, distribution operations, IT, etc.) to address critical issues and resolve major problems. Prepares and delivers reports and informational presentations for management and business associates. Using established procedures and working under immediate supervision, performs assigned tasks. Work is routine and instructions are usually detailed. Little evaluation, originality or ingenuity is required. Performs other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience/Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, science, technology, engineering, or mathematics required Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Office, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline is preferred. Knowledge of electric meters and metering data collection or translation systems. Ability to absorb information, apply conceptual skills in practical applications, and achieve desired results in a highly technical, operating environment. Possesses the ability to effectively deal with the rapid technological and business change while maintaining enthusiasm and displaying sound judgment and common sense. Possess a high level of customer sensitivity and ability to manage high levels of stress, ambiguity, and uncertainty. Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively. Be able to handle multiple assignments concurrently.
Attendance Regular attendance is essential for satisfactory performance. Work Conditions Position requires working in an office environment. Routine travel throughout the LG&E/KU service area with occasional overnight assignments required.
