The MFM (Maternal-Fetal Medicine) sonographer is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging scans on patients from the 1st to the 3rd trimester, focusing on high-risk pregnancies. The role involves competently executing routine and specialized sonography procedures to produce high-quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers. These images are crucial for the diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention of injury or disease. Responsibilities Perform diagnostic imaging scans for patients in the 1st to the 3rd trimester with a focus on high-risk pregnancies. Execute routine and specialized sonography procedures to produce high-quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers. Support diagnosis, treatment planning, monitoring, and prevention of injury or disease through accurate imaging and documentation.
