Java, Kafka, and API development , along with proven capabilities in
performance tuning and optimization . This role requires a balance of
hands-on coding, technical leadership, and solution design
to drive high-quality deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of developers, ensuring adherence to best coding practices, design principles, and delivery timelines. Architect, design, and implement scalable and high-performing Java-based applications. Build and optimize
Kafka-based messaging solutions
for real-time data streaming. Develop and maintain
RESTful APIs
for seamless system integration. Perform
performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization
to enhance application reliability and speed. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product owners, architects, QA, and DevOps to ensure smooth delivery. Drive technical discussions, propose solutions, and ensure architectural consistency. Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and enforce quality standards.
Required Skills & Experience
14+ years of total IT experience
with a strong background in enterprise application development. Expertise in
Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture . Hands-on experience with
Apache Kafka
(producers, consumers, topics, stream processing). Strong knowledge of
API design and integration (RESTful, JSON, Swagger, etc.) . Proven track record in
application performance tuning and optimization
(memory management, multithreading, profiling). Experience with
databases (SQL/NoSQL)
and efficient query optimization. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues. Excellent communication and leadership skills with prior experience guiding teams.
Nice to Have
Experience in
Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) . Exposure to
CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) . Background in
healthcare/insurance domain
is a plus.
