Responsibilities
End-to-end PLM migration: own the migration solution design and execution, including the lifecycle of Data Migration Scripts (Create, Validate, Approvals) with customers. Lead 34 large end-to-end data migrations into various PLM tool sets (e.g., Windchill, Teamcenter) from multiple target systems. Work in onsite-offshore models, coordinating with customers, product vendors and service partners. Apply strong analytical understanding of CAD and Non-CAD data and its constructs across multiple PLM and ERP systems. Demonstrate broad database knowledge, PLM data structures, tables and relations, and data transformation concepts. Maintain deep understanding of Windchill PLM Data Model and database architecture; hands-on experience with Windchill Bulk Migrator (WBM) and familiarity with WBM database architecture and usage. Understand WBMFF or CAD profiler framework. Proficiency in Oracle (SQL/PLSQL) and Core Java; understand ETL processes (extract, transform, load). Experience in CAD and NON-CAD data migration; write custom scripts for data extraction and loaders as needed. Lead data migration rehearsals, drive issue resolution and document outcomes for customer references. Perform strong pre- and post-migration data validation and ensure data migrated meets quality expectations. Demonstrate strong client and stakeholder management capabilities and contribution to migration competency and practice development (tool building, process standardization). Exhibit excellent business communication skills (verbal and written). Ability to participate in solution design to execution and migrate data from legacy PLM systems to latest target versions using various migration tool sets. Qualifications
10+ years of experience with end-to-end PLM migration, including hands-on execution and migration solution design and execution management. 34 large end-to-end data migrations completed into PLM tool sets like Windchill and Teamcenter from diverse target systems. Experience working in onsite-offshore models, collaborating with customers, product vendors and service partners. Data modeling, data mapping and transformation expertise; ability to conduct data migration rehearsals with effective issue resolution. Strong pre- and post-migration validation skills and processes for migrated data. Strong client and stakeholder management capabilities; track record in building migration competency and practice development. Excellent business communication skills, both verbal and written.
