Front End experience with Angular is preferred. You should also have experience with Java and AWS. Software engineers apply engineering principles and knowledge of programming languages to build software solutions for end users. Responsibilities include the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software applications. You will be part of a cross-functional team that includes other software engineers and the product team. Responsibilities:

Participates in technical design discussions, proposing solutions, and collaborating with architects and senior engineers to ensure solutions meet business needs and technical feasibility. Develops, implements, and tests complex software solutions following coding standards, best practices, and test-driven development principles. Writes comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and maintainability. Participates in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to coding standards. Builds solutions aligned with company IT strategy, translating business goals into technical requirements and selecting appropriate technologies. Owns solution delivery from development to production, including monitoring, issue resolution, and operational improvements following SRE practices. Collaborates with testers to ensure software quality and successful user acceptance testing. Stays current with emerging technologies relevant to the role and participates in knowledge-sharing initiatives. Ensures software quality by identifying and fixing defects and validating specifications. Develops and executes quality control processes to meet quality standards. Level of oversight: Independent work reviewed for overall adequacy in meeting objectives. Experience and Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field. Experience: 3-5 years of experience in relevant programming languages and software development principles, with project experience similar to those undertaken by the Engineer II team at MAPFRE. Supervision received: Close guidance from senior engineers and team leads, with opportunities to develop technical skills.
