Software Engineer
T-Mobile is Americas supercharged Un-carrier, delivering an advanced 4G LTE and transformative nationwide 5G network that will offer reliable connectivity for all. Engineers, software located in Overland Park, KS will assist with information technology solutions by analyzing systems requirements, existing business processes, and information systems. Position duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Code, test, debug, and document software applications while collaborating with a team to manage and develop microservices using Spring Boot and Spring Cloud that support T-Mobiles new modernized APIs developing for NorthStar architecture that serve all the frontends. - Analyze solution documents to understand requirements and create Integration Design Documents (IDD) and Swagger documentation for RESTful APIs to ensure alignment with business goals and technical feasibility. - Develop and test microservices using Spring Framework and JEE, and assist with deploying applications using Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, and Helm in cloud environments such as AWS or Azure. - Create and manage API proxies using Apigee to enhance API performance and security, while monitoring application logs to identify and troubleshoot issues. - Conduct unit and integration testing to validate the functionality and performance of developed microservices, ensuring high-quality output and maintainability.
