Manager, Privacy Strategic Programs

As a Manager on the Privacy Strategic Program team, you will lead a high-impact team of skilled program managers responsible for driving complex, cross-functional risk initiatives that align with Meta's commitment to user privacy and regulatory compliance. This role requires strategic vision and program management expertise in an ambiguous environment with changing priorities. By working hand-in-hand with product management leadership, you will be instrumental in shaping the decision engines that drive our compliance practices and unlock innovation at scale. In this role you will be required to both support a team and dive into specific initiatives to drive value for the organization. Responsibilities

Lead and grow a team of privacy program managers focused on strategic privacy initiatives across multiple product and risk domains Develop and execute program strategies that align with Meta's privacy goals and regulatory requirements Drive cross-functional collaboration with product, engineering, legal, and compliance teams to deliver privacy programs on time and within scope Drive efficient decision-making and resource allocation to maximize team impact Identify and mitigate risks and dependencies that could impact program delivery Demonstrate operational rigor by prioritizing tasks effectively, managing time efficiently, and driving productivity for both themselves and their team Communicate program status, progress, outcomes and escalations to executive leadership and key stakeholders Foster an environment of continuous improvement, coaching, and professional development within your team Ensure compliance with company policies, privacy regulations, and industry best practices Represent the Privacy Strategic Programs team in cross-organization initiatives and leadership forums Minimum Qualifications

10+ years of experience in program management, operations, or related roles, with at least 5 years in a people management capacity Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional, product-led programs in privacy, security, compliance, or related fields Adapt to ambiguity and changing priorities with agility, maintaining focus and high performance in a deadline-driven environment Experience working in a large, global technology company or similar environment Demonstrated experience in influencing and communicating effectively with executive leadership with clear, concise drafting and verbal communications skills Track record of delivering programs on time, within budget, and to quality standards Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Law, Public Policy, or Business Preferred Qualifications

12+ years of relevant experience with a focus on program development and leadership Experience managing teams across multiple product areas in a geographically-varied team Experience with operations, budget management, and vendor relationships Demonstrated analytical skills and experience using data to drive decision-making $172,000/year to $241,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
