Supervisor Position At North County Serenity House

Health RIGHT 360 offers residential treatment services designed to serve individuals and families with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders. Our program helps clients address addiction and related issues, increase skills, manage stressors, connect to supportive service, and build a foundation for lasting recovery. Residential programs run 24/7 and include individual and group therapy, family therapy, individualized case management, treatment planning, drug and alcohol counseling, medication support services, and crisis intervention. North County Serenity House (NCSH), a residential program of HealthRIGHT 360, was founded in 1966 to provide substance use disorder services in the community. NCSH provides a gender-responsive and trauma-informed environment, using evidence-based and best practices that recognize and account for the role that trauma frequently plays in substance use and criminal histories of women. For clients with co-occurring mental illness, we provide integrated substance use and mental health services which treat both conditions as primary. Our residential facility serves up to 120 women (with capacity for up to 20 children under 5 years of age) seeking recovery from substance use disorders. Key Responsibilities
People Management: Interview, select, hire, and terminate administrative staff in collaboration with Human Resources. Train, coach, support, and manage front desk, Administrative Assistants, and Data Entry Specialists. Ensure staff are providing high-level customer service to the clients at all times. Ensure staff are in compliance with HealthRight 360's policies and procedures, position expectations, and performance goals. Provide ongoing feedback, manage performance of direct staff including providing performance improvement plans, formal written warning notices, and terminations if necessary. Provide supervision for staff. Fill in for staff to provide proper coverage. Administrative: Utilize appropriate electronic systems to enter information into our county billing system. Generate reports and respond to inquiries regarding entered data as requested. Accurately prepare monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc reports for management team as requested. Compile, sort, and verify accuracy of data to be entered. Maintain internal tracking system for all county submissions. Ensure correct pay sources are created, setup, and changes are completed, reviewed, and submitted in EHRs and county systems. Follow up on all pending claims, correct and input denied claims on a regular basis. Check Medi-Cal eligibility for new clients and monthly for all clients. Monitor the consistency of client information between systems to ensure reimbursement of claims. Other Duties: Maintain confidential information. Maintain working relationships with internal and external programs. Participate and attend weekly supervision. Attend, facilitate, and coordinate meetings and training as needed. Complete assigned training in a timely manner. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Education, Certification, or Licensure: High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or related field preferred. Possess a valid California driver's license and automobile insurance. Experience: Minimum of two years administrative experience. Two years' experience providing supervision to administrative staff and/or direct service providers. Experience with Medi-Cal billing system preferred. Must complete background check and livescan clearance. We will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
