About the Role:

As a Systems Administrator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the stable operation of our in-house computer software systems. This position involves planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing computer systems to meet the organization's operational requirements. You will collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to implement effective solutions that enhance system reliability, performance, and security.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

System Planning and Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for system development and implementation. Plan and design computer systems architecture, including servers, databases, networks, and applications, to meet current and future organizational needs. Installation and Configuration: Install, configure, and deploy computer software systems, applications, and tools according to established procedures and best practices. Ensure proper integration and compatibility of software components within the existing IT infrastructure environment. Maintenance and Support: Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as software updates, patches, and security enhancements, to ensure the ongoing stability and security of computer systems. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users and IT teams to resolve system-related issues and minimize downtime. System Optimization: Monitor system performance and capacity utilization to identify areas for optimization and improvement. Implement proactive measures, such as performance tuning and resource optimization, to enhance system efficiency and reliability. Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce security policies, procedures, and protocols to safeguard sensitive data and protect against cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies related to system security and data protection. Documentation and Training: Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for future reference and knowledge sharing. Provide training and guidance to end-users and IT staff on system usage, best practices, and security protocols. Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered. Experience in systems administration or related IT roles, with a strong understanding of computer systems architecture, networking principles, and software applications. Proficiency in installing, configuring, and supporting operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux), virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), and server hardware. Hands-on experience with system monitoring tools, backup and recovery solutions, and security protocols (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection systems). Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or collaboratively in a dynamic environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders and convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

The salary range for this position starts at $ 100000 to $110000 ; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Bonus opportunities may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
