Director, Strategic Development
will lead the clinical development strategy for multiple programs from Phase 1-3 through regulatory approval. Responsibilities include designing and reviewing clinical protocols, preparing regulatory submissions, analyzing scientific literature, collaborating with research teams, managing clinical trial sites, representing the company at scientific events, and participating in cross-functional teams. Minimum qualifications: PhD, PharmD, MPH, or RN in life sciences 10+ years (PhD/PharmD) or 12+ years (MPH/RN) in clinical research/development Experience with clinical trial protocols, regulatory applications, GCP knowledge, scientific writing, and project management Preferred qualifications: 5+ years in pulmonary disease research or drug development for orphan diseases Experience in clinical development of pulmonary diseases and database management This hybrid role is based in Durham, NC, requiring at least four in-office days per week, with up to 25% travel.
