We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is responsible for overseeing all phases of construction, including budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and client communication. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and has a strong understanding of construction processes and project delivery.


Key Responsibilities of the Project Manager


  • Manage the planning, execution, and completion of commercial construction projects including interior renovations, ground-up builds, and tenant improvements.
  • Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, cost reporting, and overall timelines in line with client expectations and contractual obligations.
  • Coordinate daily with field staff, superintendents, and subcontractors to ensure project goals are achieved.
  • Maintain strong client relationships by providing transparency, consistent updates, and responsiveness throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Track and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and closeout documentation while maintaining accurate and organized records.
  • Ensure quality control, site safety, and compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Monitor project costs and provide regular forecasting and reporting to leadership.
  • Collaborate with accounting, procurement, and legal departments as needed.


Qualifications for the Project Manager


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing commercial construction projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and teams concurrently.
  • Strong knowledge of construction drawings, codes, materials, and building methods.
  • Proficiency in project management software such as ProjectSight, Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, or similar.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to problem-solve proactively and meet strict deadlines.
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred; PMP or CCM certification is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
  • Extensive commercial construction experience may be considered in place of a degree.
