The Food & Beverage team enables a consistent experience by ensuring product is fresh, in stock, accurately priced and signed, and by leading food services, including replenishment, inventory accuracy, food safety, presentation, pricing and promotional signing processes for all Food & Beverage areas of the store.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional guest experience, connecting with guests to deliver quality handcrafted beverages and food during all hours of operations, prioritizing the guest’s needs over task.
• Uphold and maintain the execution of the Food & Beverage Standards, all Starbucks brand standards and food safety standards.
• Execute food and beverage processes, including deliveries, replenishment, stocking, zoning, inventory accuracy, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, labeling, and backstock management.
• Maintain awareness of all promotional activities and follow routines to deliver a consistent Starbucks experience while driving efficiency and food safety.
• Support the Starbucks Drive Up process to fulfill digital guest orders accurately and on time.
• Maintain an inviting dining area for guests all day, every day.
• Engage with guests to meet and exceed their expectations per Starbucks standards; greet guests authentically and respond to needs.
• Prepare items to specifications and follow department routines; monitor temperature-sensitive items as outlined in best practices.
• Complete and record all cleaning tasks and follow packaging, labeling, and food safety guidelines.
• Identify damaged, recalled or expired items and process according to best practice; manage in-stocks and perishable inventory procedures.
• Execute sampling best practices and contribute to a welcoming guest experience.
• Operate with ethical conduct, safety and compliance; work safely and identify hazards.
• Assist guest services such as back-up cashier, order pickup (OPU) and Drive-up (DU) while complying with applicable laws.
• Assist with other duties as needed by business requirements.

Required skills and qualifications

• Previous Starbucks/food service experience preferred but not required.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members.
• Ability to use handheld scanners and other technology; good communication across devices.
• Ability to work independently and with a team; resolve guest questions quickly.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes; stay focused in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; reliable attendance.
• Physical ability to lift up to 44 pounds and work in varied temperatures and environments.
