Summary: Makes and serves coffee/espresso drinks and related food and beverage items. Handles food according to HACCP standards. Interacts with customers and employees courteously.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepares espresso orders using standard measures and recipes.
- Enters orders accurately into POS; accepts payments.
- Replenishes condiments, beverages, supplies; maintains cleanliness.
- Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures.
- Maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies, utensils.
- Follows recipes and production standards for food prep.
- Keeps display equipment clean.
- Cleans workstations before leaving.
- Greet customers courteously; relay concerns to supervisors.
- Serves customers efficiently, prevents delays.
- Explains menu items accurately.
- Uses selling techniques to assist customer decisions.
- Merchandises foods attractively and serves neatly.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
