Position Summary

Shift:Day Shift, 15 hours per week

Join a mission-driven team where your social work skills make a measurable impact. As a Clinical Social Worker, you will provide direct psychosocial support and care coordination to a select caseload of patients and families. Your responsibilities include conducting assessments, identifying challenges, developing care plans, and facilitating referrals to ensure continuity of care. You’ll work as a key member of a multidisciplinary team, actively contributing to improved patient outcomes and organizational success. Flexibility is essential, as you will also provide coverage during staff absences, vacancies, and on-call rotations.

Qualifications And Competencies

Education

  • Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution

Knowledge

  • Deep understanding of biopsychosocial and cultural aspects of clinical social work
  • Familiarity with health care systems, procedures, and organizational dynamics
  • Strong knowledge of local and community-based resources
  • Awareness of current issues and trends in health care delivery
  • Ability to collect, assess, and synthesize clinical data to inform care decisions

Skills

  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in clinical social work within mental health and health care settings
  • Strong analytical skills to assess patient needs and develop effective care plans
  • Ability to recognize systemic challenges and offer solutions to improve care delivery

Licensure/Certification

  • Must hold a current LGSW license from the Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners
  • Exceptions may apply for out-of-state licensure or pending licensure if the candidate meets specific Board requirements

Experience

  • Minimum of one year of clinical social work experience (internship experience may be considered), preferably in a health care or mental health setting

Salary Range: Minimum 34.11/hour - Maximum 56.34/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
