A facility is seeking an OB/GYN for locum tenens coverage. There are CNMs on staff who assist with call, OB/GYN on staff helping, and surgical assists for support.
About the Facility LocationThe facility is located in Alexandra, LA.
About the Clinician's WorkdayThe schedule is 24 hour in-house call shifts, 2-3 shifts per week (weekday and weekend). Shifts are 24 hours in length, the provider must remain in-house during their shift. The locum will manage unassigned OB patients that present to L&D and the main ER, provide coverage of Obstetric emergencies, and manage unassigned and clinic GYN patients that present to the Main ER. They will also manage all clinic and unassigned patients that present to the OB Triage, evaluate Private Physician patients in Triage when requested, and perform Antepartum, Post-partum and GYN rounds on unassigned/clinic patients that are on the OB/GYN Hospitalist service.
