A facility is seeking an urgent care nurse practitioner for locum tenens coverage.

About the Clinician's WorkdayThe role requires working 34 full days per week. Providers must be board certified in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med-Peds, with a minimum of 3 years experience in ER or Urgent Care (Work Comp experience preferred; DOT certification preferred). Local candidates onlyno expenses covered. Ideal candidates have 36 years of experience in Urgent Care, Family Medicine, or Pediatrics and must be comfortable seeing patients 3 months and older. Providers will start once credentialed, which takes about 90 days. Clinic hours are M-F 8AM8PM, Sat 8AM7PM, Sun 8AM5PM, with patient volume averaging 3540 per 12-hour shift. EMR is Practice Velocity. There are 25 clinics in the Austin market, and providers are expected to float between nearby sites.
