Position: Director, Supply Chain Department: Supply Chain Reports to: Site Leader Direct reports: Three (3) Responsibilities
Provide leadership and oversight for Planning, Procurement, Inventory Management, and Warehouse Operations Shape and execute long-term supply chain strategies aligned with site goals, growth objectives, and market dynamics Drive continuous improvement using KPIs and metrics; support customer scorecards and internal performance objectives Identify and pursue cost-saving opportunities through process optimization, strategic sourcing, waste reduction, and workflow improvements Develop and implement best practices and policies to improve efficiency across the supply chain using Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles Oversee warehouse operations including inventory accuracy, layout optimization, material flow, receiving, shipping, and space utilization Establish and monitor supplier performance standards in collaboration with cross-functional teams Evaluate capacity models and align supply chain strategies with on-time delivery, schedule execution, inventory optimization, and cost control Partner with Operations and Commercial Teams to support production planning and inventory alignment with demand Lead the development and implementation of warehouse safety, productivity, and inventory control procedures Ensure compliance with GMPs, SOPs, and company policies across all warehouse and supply chain functions Select, train, mentor, and develop Supply Chain staff; foster an empowered and accountable team culture Prepare and manage departmental budgets and participate in quarterly site Revenue reviews; track progress toward targets Lead cross-functional projects, allocate resources, and manage risks to ensure successful execution Other duties as assigned Education and Experience Required
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Science, or Business Administration; MBA preferred Minimum 8 years of management experience, with 5+ years in a senior leadership role Proven experience in supply chain management including inventory management, service and cost improvement, and S&OP Experience managing warehouse or distribution operations in a manufacturing environment Systems experience, including ERP and WMS platforms Industry experience in Personal Care or OTC Pharmaceutical manufacturing preferred Strong cost accounting, financial acumen, and performance measurement experience Six Sigma Green Belt is a plus Skills Required
Ability to develop and execute operational strategies aligned with business objectives Experience with ERP/MRP systems, Excel, and project management tools Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to motivate and develop high-performance teams Analytical mindset with problem-solving and negotiation skills Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and visual management Ability to lead cross-functional projects to timely, budget-conscious, goal-aligned outcomes Commitment to safety, accountability, and continuous improvement Seniority level
