Base pay range $80,000.00/hr - $90,000.00/hr

General Manager – Job Summary Urban Air is seeking a General Manager to motivate, instill accountability, and achieve results to drive success while maintaining our fun culture. This person will provide overall leadership, vision, and direction on initiatives and operating standards while providing a positive atmosphere for guests and staff.

Responsibilities

People

Hire, train, and mentor staff to develop their skills

Cultivate a team environment that delivers exceptional customer service

Implement and execute all staff training programs

Assist in selecting and developing Area Leads and Certified Trainers for increased responsibility or internal promotion

Lead and influence managerial staff through effective motivation, leveraging individual strengths to maximize productivity

Ensure execution of all employee recognition and incentive programs as documented

Maintain a strong community presence through partnerships with community and business organizations

Operations

Maintain a safe, clean, and secure environment for all guests and staff

Oversee all aspects of the operation including entertainment, food & beverage, attractions, and property to support financial goals and company initiatives

Improve operational execution through attention to detail and adherence to standards and philosophies

Provide direction to the management team and ensure staff perform at a high level

Promote positive employee relations and delegate managerial duties to uphold standards

Assist franchise owners in holding managers accountable for departmental goals

Monitor guest reviews to maintain or improve the guest experience

Financials

Capitalize market opportunities by executing marketing strategies to drive sales

Maintain systems for fiscal responsibility in inventory control and ordering

Ensure appropriate staffing levels while managing the labor budget

Analyze financial reports and develop action plans to grow revenue and control expenses to meet budgets

Qualifications

Ability to enthusiastically interact with others

Strong character with good judgment

Experience in hospitality required: Theme Parks, Family Entertainment Centers, Hotels, Resorts, Casinos, or Restaurants

3+ years of experience in Facility Operations & Management

Demonstrated ability to develop team members and achieve financial results

Professional, energetic, self-motivated, and able to motivate others with a positive attitude

Intermediate computer skills – Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Professional grooming and conduct

Adaptability, flexibility, and enthusiasm for the business

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to build working relationships with employees, management, and vendors

Maintain professionalism internally and externally

Ability to establish and communicate a vision for the park

Flexible, adaptable to business and team needs

Maintain high personal standards of conduct and professionalism

Innovative and strategic thinker
