The Senior Brand Manager for Kahlúa, Lillet, M47, & Italicus will work closely with the Brand Director in driving the growth agenda. They will exhibit a general manager mindset and will be responsible for leading key projects that aim to achieve three goals: build brand equity, grow household penetration, and drive brand performance via long-term, profitable growth. The Senior Brand Manager will lead multiple cross-functional project teams involving Marketing Accelerator/Media Team, Finance, Shopper Marketing, Field Marketing, Global Marketing, and Innovation. They will partner with relevant Brand Companies and Agencies to develop local brand plans and media-to-shelf programs that align with global brand positioning. Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities
Act as day-to-day General Manager for Kahlúa in the U.S. (35%) Own development of the Annual Operating Plan and brand growth strategy. Manage brand P&L and ensure disciplined A&P investment to drive profitable, sustainable growth. Partner with Finance and Commercial teams to track performance, course-correct, and deliver against targets. Monitor brand health, consumer insights, competitive activity, and category trends. Track performance of marketing campaigns and innovation launches against KPIs. Lead Development of Priority National Programs (25%) Translate brand strategy into best-in-class national programs that drive consumer engagement and household penetration. Write clear, inspiring briefs and manage agency partners to deliver breakthrough creative. Ensure programs are culturally relevant, inclusive, and aligned with global brand positioning. Partner with cross-functional teams (Shopper Marketing, Sales, Media, Field Marketing) to ensure seamless “media-to-shelf” execution. Lead Go-to-Market Planning for Innovation (20%) Partner with Global Brand Company and Innovation Hub to shape pipeline projects for U.S. market relevance. Build and execute launch strategies, including positioning, messaging, retail activation, and performance measurement. Drive innovation launches that recruit new consumers and unlock new occasions. Asset Creation & Adaptation (20%) Collaborate with the Brand Company on asset creation, adaptation, and localization to ensure global consistency with U.S. market relevance. Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent); MBA or advanced degree preferable. 7+ years of business experience, with most recent experience in a manager or senior manager level role in wine & spirits, CPG, creative agency or media agency on the client side. Managed large and culturally iconic brands with large A&P spends. Developed brand strategies grounded in insights and analytics. Managed and partnering with a broad set of stakeholders in a matrix organization as well as external agency partners. Directly managed financials and business performance including budget management.
