As a
Data Engineer , you’ll be the backbone of our data-driven approach. You’ll design the pipelines that power every stage of our growth playbooks — from scraping large volumes of web data to analyzing what drives traffic and conversion. Responsibilities
Data Collection: Design and scale web scraping pipelines to collect and structure content at large volumes across different verticals. Performance Analytics: Build systems to track and analyze the effectiveness of thousands of SEO assets, turning raw data into insights and dashboards. Internal Tooling & Automation: Build internal tools that allow our growth leads to ideate, launch, and test strategies at scale—backed by data. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, and growth to embed data workflows into our product stack. Knowledge Sharing & Leadership: Stay up-to-date with data engineering, SEO, and AI; share learnings and contribute to technical excellence. Qualifications
Strong Python skills and experience with large-scale web automation. Experience designing reliable, scalable data pipelines. Experience with data visualization and communicating insights clearly. Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and iterate quickly. Ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams. Curiosity and drive to solve messy, unstructured problems with clean systems. Stack
Python Web Automation (Selenium/Playwright) Postgres LLMs (GPT, Claude, Gemini) Compensation
The compensation for this role is $140k - $180k base salary with generous equity in daydream. For applicants outside of the San Francisco Bay Area, relocation is paid. Location & Employment Type
