Position Summary Oversee the planning, execution, and coordination of marketing initiatives for Griffin’s assigned product line of investment funds. Acting as a liaison between internal teams and external partners, the role ensures the development and delivery of effective marketing materials that support business growth, brand awareness, and competitive positioning. Collaborates closely with executives, sales, compliance, and creative teams to align marketing strategies with organizational goals.
Duties and Responsibilities
Marketing Material Development:
Create, update, and maintain a variety of marketing collateral including sales kits (electronic and print), campaigns, presentations, whitepapers, email content, and digital assets to support multiple funds.
Project Coordination:
Lead all marketing projects for the assigned product line, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget. Develop project plans, assign tasks, and monitor progress using project management tools.
Content Review & Traffic Management:
Coordinate the review and approval process for marketing materials, liaising with creative and compliance teams. Maintain effective relationships with stakeholders to ensure consistency and shared ownership.
Website & Content Management:
Ensure website content is accurate, current, and aligned with campaign timelines and updates.
Campaign Management:
Develop targeted marketing campaigns, including segmented email and direct mail efforts, aligned with product launch plans and marketing objectives.
Internal Communication:
Keep sales and other stakeholders informed of project status, deadlines, and updates to facilitate smooth execution and prioritization.
Resource & Inventory Management:
Ensure marketing assets are organized, accessible, and current. Conduct quarterly updates to maintain an accurate inventory of materials.
Market & Data Analysis:
Collect and interpret data to inform marketing strategies and improve campaign effectiveness.
Compliance & Regulatory Alignment:
Ensure all marketing efforts adhere to compliance standards, collaborating with compliance teams as needed.
Innovation:
Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing, including emerging technologies and platforms, and provide recommendations for innovative strategies.
Qualifications
Relevant Work Experience:
Minimum 2 years of related marketing experience within financial services, ideally Real Estate, Private Equity or Alternative Investments; minimum 5 years’ overall marketing experience. Track record of leading end-to-end project management for fund product launches or ongoing marketing campaigns.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Financial Services Industry:
Exposure to financial markets and real estate, and knowledge of regulatory and industry rules, guidelines (SEC, FINRA) is ideal.
Computer Skills:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools. Experience working with one or more current design software programs (e.g., InDesign, Photoshop, PowerPoint). Direct experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
Benefits and Salary Griffin Capital’s salary ranges are determined by role, duration of direct experience, and internal and external pay equity considerations.
The base salary range for this exempt full-time position is $66,000-$110,000 + annual bonus eligibility + benefits. Final compensation will reflect experience and expertise of the candidate.
