Director of Business Development – Specialty Tax Services Location: Houston, TX | Hybrid | Unlimited Earnings Uncapped Earnings: $150K–$200K+ in Year One | Top Performers $500K+ KBKG is a national specialty tax consulting firm looking for a hunter-minded business development leader to expand CPA partnerships and close new B2B opportunities across South Texas. If you thrive on building relationships with CPAs, CFOs, and business owners—and you want to run your territory like your own business—this role is for you. What You’ll Do
Drive new business across Houston and South Texas Build referral networks with CPA firms and financial leaders Execute high-activity outbound sales through meetings, calls, and events Partner with internal technical experts and sales support teams Own your pipeline, forecasting, and results What You Bring
7+ years of B2B sales success in consultative environments Hunter DNA—proven track record of creating and closing new business Experience working with CPAs, financial services, or tax solutions preferred History of exceeding quotas and building lasting relationships This is not just another sales job—it’s a chance to earn at the highest levels, make an impact, and build a legacy in a high-demand industry. Performance Objectives
90-Day Goal: Complete onboarding and training; develop foundational knowledge of KBKG’s service offerings. Begin building a CPA partner pipeline; schedule 30+ prospecting meetings. 180-Day Goal: Establish 3–5 new referral partnerships and begin closing initial deals. Achieve consistent outreach activity metrics: 50 dials/month, 10–15 meetings/week. 365-Day Goal: Achieve $1M in closed business. Grow referral network; independently manage multiple CPA and client relationships. Qualify for bonus tier based on exceeding revenue targets. Core Values
