The Product Marketing team is at the center of understanding our customers and their needs to help the Product team develop products customers love and tell others about. This role provides exposure to the full go-to-market lifecycle—from research and positioning to launch execution and driving product adoption. You will work with Product Marketing Managers to understand customers more deeply, develop insights, and create messaging frameworks, product proof points, creative, sales collateral, and other marketing assets to effectively take products to market and drive revenue with both dealers and consumers.

What You'll Do

Support in developing, executing, analyzing and actioning customer research to understand needs and pain points and generate insights for product development.

Create product messaging and language to clearly communicate value propositions to customers and prospects.

With Dealers: Work with the Sales team to make strategic recommendations and provide tools and resources to communicate the value of dealer products. Create marketing collateral, pitch decks, and other sales enablement materials that are clear, consistent, aligned with CarGurus brand, and resonant with dealers.

For consumers: Partner with Creative and Performance Marketing teams to drive the performance creative roadmap and brief development, ensuring assets are updated and optimized to drive response (e.g., ads, emails, landing pages, testimonials, videos).

Help identify and bring best practices in the US to the UK, Canada, and other CarGurus markets.

Communicate with key business partners to drive transparency and enable successful cross-team partnerships.

What You'll Bring

Experience: 2+ years in marketing, preferably at a tech company

Excellent business sense and curiosity; ability to internalize material quickly and research to establish a foundation for strategic work

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt tone to brand guidelines

Solid quantitative and analytic skills

Resourcefulness and a solution-oriented mindset

Strong work ethic and accountability

Appetite to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Interest in gaining experience across multiple leaders and marketing projects

Bachelor’s degree (writing-intensive and/or quantitative major preferred) with 2+ years relevant work experience
