Bachelor's degree in Design, Human Computer Interface, Interaction, or equivalent practical experience. 15 years of experience in an executive role, creating strategy and designing products. Experience working with executives, user researchers, writers, product managers, and engineers. Experience managing UX teams. Preferred qualifications
Experience leading teams and driving organizational design, career development, operations, and culture both within UX organizations and in partnership with Product Management and Engineering teams. Knowledge of AI, mobile, and web technologies. Understanding of user experience and performance metrics. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to understand, articulate positions, and advocate for designs. Excellent managerial and operational skills, with an UX portfolio, demonstrating clear insights, problem-solving, and simple solutions skills. Responsibilities
Create compelling product outlooks and strategic roadmaps that lead to the growth of existing products as well as boldly exploring new ones. Advocate for the efforts of the team and collaborate across Google to make all product better. Build relationships and operating rhythms with leaders inside and outside of Ads, to drive user experiences that are cohesive and well-informed.
