is seeking a Senior Product Manager/Associate Director, Consumer Marketing, Psychiatry to support patient marketing of Axsomes in-line Psychiatry assets and future product launches. Reporting to the Senior Director, Consumer Marketing, Psychiatry, this role will design, develop, and implement branded and unbranded consumer strategies and tactical initiatives across the patient journey, and lead collaboration with our strategic agency of record, media agency and extended agency partners from a DTC perspective. This role will work cross-functionally with HCP Marketing, Patient Support Services, Market Research, Market Access, Data & Market Analytics, Legal, Regulatory and Medical, as well as other internal and external partners. The role ensures success in consumer strategy, positioning, segmentation, omni-channel execution, creative development, media planning, measurement/analytics, performance and optimizations. This role is based at Axsomes HQ in New York City with an on-site requirement of at least three days per week. We are unable to consider candidates who are looking for fully remote roles. Job Responsibilities and Duties Lead and develop the consumer strategic and tactical plan for portfolio of products Collaborate with external agencies, internal partners, and leadership to build, manage, and execute marketing plans to achieve business objectives and goals Manage strategy and project development of an omni-channel strategy for brand awareness, acquisition, and conversion initiatives through a variety of channels which may include CRM, in-office, print, SEM, mobile, broadcast TV, radio, programmatic, and social; explore and introduce new channels through pilot programs (influencer, PR, etc) Evaluate the effectiveness of campaign strategies through campaign measurement and metrics development to ensure positive ROI and achieve brand objectives Help patients better manage their condition through improved patient experiences Effectively track and manage the marketing budget Champion the Brand Patient/Caregiver Ambassador Program by working directly with patients to highlight their stories across channels Lead the measurement and optimization of campaigns across digital channels Champion initiatives through medical, legal, regulatory review process Requirements / Qualifications BA or BS degree required At least 6 years for Senior Product Manager and at least 8 years for Associate Director level, of consumer marketing experience in pharma/biotech with heavy omni-channel marketing & media, with emphasis on digital Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech consumer marketing Ability to work on site Monday, Tuesday & Thursday; remote roles not available Experience, Knowledge And Skills High competency in core marketing capabilities such as creative development, positioning, & optimization across the marketing mix CNS disease experience and/or launch experience strongly preferred Deep media planning experience preferred Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams, including timeline and budget management Ability to understand medical/clinical aspects of a pharmaceutical product and its application to the consumer marketing strategy and tactical execution Excellent communication (oral, written, and presentation) and people skills Experience working with and managing multiple external agencies Understanding of media platforms/channels, their applications, and measurement Strong interpersonal and presentation skills Salary & Benefits The anticipated salary range for this role is $140,000 - $170,000. We offer a competitive employment package that includes an annual bonus, significant equity and a generous benefits package.
