Fellowship begins June 29, 2026 and ends December 31, 2027. Applications will be accepted until December 31, 2025. Schedule: Full Time (40hrs/week) What You'll Do The Freeman Health System Administrative Fellowship is a highly selective, project-based program designed to provide recent graduates of MHA, MBA, MPH, or related programs with hands-on experience in healthcare administration. Fellows will work closely with senior leadership on strategic initiatives, operational improvements, and organizational development projects that directly impact patient care and system performance. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with executive leaders on high-impact projects across departments such as operations, finance, strategy, and clinical services. Conduct data analysis, prepare presentations, and support decision-making processes. Participate in leadership meetings, board sessions, and community engagement activities. Rotate through key departments to gain a comprehensive understanding of hospital operations. Lead at least one capstone project aligned with Freeman Health System's strategic goals. Provide research and benchmarking support for system-wide initiatives. Requirements: Master's degree (completed or near completion) in Health Administration (MHA), Business Administration (MBA), Public Health (MPH), or a related field. Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated leadership potential and a passion for healthcare improvement. Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications: Previous internship or work experience in a healthcare setting. Familiarity with healthcare regulations, quality improvement, and patient safety principles.
