Senior Buyer
to manage high-impact purchasing programs across capital equipment, construction, and company-wide vendor relationships. What You'll Do Lead negotiation and administration of contracts for capital equipment, engineering services, and construction projects. Develop and manage strategic supplier relationships to support operational excellence and cost efficiency. Conduct market research, vendor evaluations, and needs assessments to identify sourcing opportunities. Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, production, and technology teams to align procurement strategies with business goals. Provide training and support on procurement policies and contract usage across the organization. Serve as a key contributor to a centralized purchasing team, driving continuous improvement and value creation.
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or Procurement. 10+ years of experience in sourcing/purchasing within a heavy industrial manufacturing environment. Strong project management skills with a proven ability to assess business needs and deliver results. Expertise in contract administration, supplier sourcing, and program evaluation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint). Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and thrive in a collaborative team environment.
