Overview

TEKsystems is seeking a Consumer Insights Specialist to work with the Insights Senior Manager marketing research SME to identify, specify, manage, and execute Voice of Customer needs, with emphasis on Voice of Consumer. The role involves research planning, execution, analysis, and reporting to influence product roadmaps and new product development decisions. The position requires presenting to internal and external stakeholders and Sr. Leadership and collaborating across teams to deliver high-quality insights on time and on budget. Responsibilities

Spearhead the design and execution of custom qualitative and quantitative customer research to support Advanced "Fuzzy Front End" innovation, roadmapping, and new product development insights needs. Synthesize findings from primary/secondary research and internal data to identify gaps, met and unmet customer needs, and context to inform decision-making. Manage internal and external stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliverables on time and on budget. Influence stakeholders by distilling large information into concise, visually impactful insights presentations. Build customized reports for individual stakeholders. Collaborate with internal and external teams to create research stimuli to deeply understand user needs, test assumptions, and iterate on concepts. Monitor megatrends, market signals, macro forces, and category trends to frame and size opportunity areas for innovation. Develop and maintain a network of partner agencies; explore new tools for deeper and more agile insights. Coordinate and moderate field tests/in-home consumer use tests. Qualifications

Bachelors or advanced degree in Marketing Research, Social Sciences, Design Research, or Consumer Behavior preferred but not required. Five+ years of experience in marketing research. Experience with a wide range of primary qualitative and quantitative methodologies. Exceptional organization and written/oral communication skills. Proven ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Experience managing and selecting external research suppliers. Experience presenting to and influencing Sr. Management/C-level Executives. Project management experience with ability to prioritize multiple products. Proven analytical skills; proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint and Excel). Experience with B2C durable goods and B2B a plus; Design Thinking and Qualtrics experience are a plus. Experience Level

Intermediate Level Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $42.10/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be limited by plan terms.
