As a member of the
IT Team , the
D365 Data Migration Specialist
is a key contributor to the ERP transformation initiative, and will partner closely with system integrators, IT, and business stakeholders to lead the clarification, alignment, and translation of data requirements and sources. This role supports the design and execution of effective data migration strategies from legacy systems to new enterprise platforms, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and successful deployment.

This position has a hybrid schedule, requiring at least 2-days in the office, and must be based in the Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas metro area.
Position Responsibilities
Responsible for translating complex procurement and demand planning requirements into scalable, efficient, and compliant system configurations across core Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management modules, including Procurement and Sourcing, Product Information Management, Vendor Collaboration, Demand Forecasting, Master Planning, and Inventory Management. The Data Migration Specialist works closely with the Dynamics 365 ERP implementation team to ensure the accurate and seamless migration of data across key business processes, including Record-to-Report (R2R), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and Order-to-Cash (O2C), maintaining data integrity and alignment throughout the D365 Finance and Operations environment. Facilitates and drives collaboration with stakeholders throughout the organization to ensure a comprehensive set of requirements to design and implement configurations, customizations, extensions, and integrations within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations platform. Work with business analysts and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solutions. Engage with a range of users to understand their needs, recommend best practices, perform fit/gap analysis, design solutions, oversee end-user training on the functionality, and deploy solutions in the ERP. Provide higher level support and troubleshooting for Dynamics 365 F&O modules, resolving issues related to functionality, performance, and integration, that may need specialization to resolve. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex technical issues. Collaborate with system implementor, developers, and architects to design robust, scalable, and maintainable solutions based on D365 best practices. Configure and customize D365 modules to meet business-specific requirements, ensuring adherence to best practices and performance standards. Facilitate unit testing and user acceptance testing processes, resolve test failures, and build new automated tests using test automation software. Document technical specifications, solutions, and code changes.
Position Requirements
Bachelors degree (B.A./B.S.) from four-year college or university; 10 or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with multi-site warehouse operations, multi-entity supply chain models, and distribution networkssupporting accurate integration with procurement, transportation, and order fulfillment processes. Preferred certifications include: Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Data Analyst Associate or relevant Power Platform certifications. Certifications in data governance, migration, or ETL tools. Experience with Data Management Framework (DMF). Data migration certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate and DAMA Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP). At least 5 years of experiencein data migration and systems integration, specializing in planning, executing, and optimizing migrations across ERP, CRM, and business systems. Proven track record managing full-cycle migrations from legacy to modern platforms, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and successful go-live. Data Migration Strategy & Planning: Leading end-to-end migrations from legacy ERP, CRM, and custom systems to cloud and on-premise enterprise platforms. Data Mapping & Transformation: Defining mapping, transformation logic, and cleansing rules for accurate, high-quality migrations. Data Quality & Validation: Conducting profiling, quality assessments, and post-migration validation to ensure business continuity. ETL & Integration Tools: Hands-on experience with SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Syniti, MuleSoft, and D365 Data Management Framework; skilled in API-based integrations. ERP/CRM Platforms: Experience migrating data to SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce, Workday, and NetSuite. Data Governance & Compliance: Ensuring adherence to security, privacy (GDPR, CCPA), and audit requirements during migrations. Stakeholder Collaboration: Partnering with IT, business analysts, functional teams, and vendors to align migration plans with business goals. Testing & Validation: Leading user acceptance testing (UAT), performance testing, and post-migration support to confirm data meets operational standards. Automation & Optimization: Implementing automated migration processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors. Ensuring data accuracy and compliance through internal controls, approval workflows, and audit trail configurations . Proven ability to support digital transformation initiatives and financial system implementations with a focus on quality, compliance, and operational efficiency. Strong knowledge of Power Platform, Power BI, and other Microsoft technologies. Experience with data migration tools and techniques. Knowledge of procurement controls, supply chain compliance frameworks, and applicable regulatory standards (e.g., SOX for supply chain operations and vendor management). Strong organizational skills, with the ability to structure and manage complex sourcing, planning, and replenishment processes, and to prioritize across multiple supply chain initiatives. Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity, resolve cross-functional conflicts, and maintain operational continuity during system or process transitions. Proven track record of taking initiative to identify data quality issues, recommend solutions, and drive results through to resolution. Ability to work effectively under pressure in tight project timelines, particularly during data validation, cutover, and go-live phases. Proven ability to take initiative and drive results, especially in identifying and implementing supply planning and procurement improvements aligned with business objectives. Capable of performing under tight deadlines and high-pressure environments, especially during planning cycles, supplier negotiations, and ERP cutovers. Ability to collaborate across procurement, planning, finance, operations, and IT teams, as well as with external vendors and partners, to ensure process alignment and data integrity. Skilled in communicating complex supply chain requirements and system changes to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including presenting insights and recommendations to leadership. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to facilitate cross-functional collaboration, ensuring a unified approach to data cleansing, validation, and reconciliation.
