Social Media Coordinator, Mens & Womens Basketball Department
Athletics | Digital Media Responsibilities
Plan, create, and execute engaging digital content that highlights the student?athlete experience, promotes game day excitement, and drives fan engagement across multiple social platforms. Support the mens and womens basketball programs from preseason through postseason with a consistent, creative, on?brand presence. Collaborate with the Digital Media Director to develop and execute a social media content calendar for both programs. Capture and publish real?time content on game days, including photos, videos, graphics, and live updates. Work with coaches, student?athletes, and athletics staff to tell stories that reflect the programs culture and successes. Create and edit short?form video, reels, and highlights for digital platforms. Monitor social media trends and apply creative strategies to increase reach and engagement. Track analytics and provide reports on growth, impressions, and fan engagement. Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines. Minimum Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience. 0 years of relevant experience required; 02 years of relevant experience preferred. Prior experience managing social media accounts (personal, professional, or internships). Strong skills in content creation: videography, photography, or graphic design. Familiarity with platforms (Instagram, X/Twitter, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube). Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and game days. Function
