Requirements:

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Audit completed orders prior to shipping
• Prioritize order-picking sessions according to instruction
• Examine shipment contents and compare with records within our shipping program to verify accuracy
• Adjust or input shipping data such as weight and package size and choose appropriate shipping service
• Determine shipping methods, routes, or rates for materials to be shipped
• Pack, seal, and affix postage to prepare materials for shipping
• Pack products to prepare them for sale
• Restocking shelves
• Counting inventory
• Mark and label containers, container tags, or products, using marking tools.
• Bring pallets of packed orders from the Packing area to Shipping
• Help carriers load trucks with shipped packages when needed
• Restock supplies at shipping/packing stations
• Other duties, as needed

Required Skills:

• Attention to detail
• Computer PC Basic Navigation - Using scroll bars, a mouse, and dialog boxes to work within the computer or tablet’s operating system. Being able to access and switch between applications and files of interest.
• Fast-paced environment, must work with a sense of urgency and be willing to learn
• Must be a self-starter and able to complete tasks/deadlines without direct supervision

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma
• The ideal candidate will have some experience in a warehouse environment. Must have experience with various computer programs and a good working knowledge of computers and tablets.

Physical Requirements:

• This job requires standing/walking during the majority of the shift and being able to push and pull a heavy cart. Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
